Job Description/Requirements
Org Marketing Statement ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Facility requiring overtime as needed. Uses the computerized work management system to screen work request's, establish work priorities, and review work and on-the-job training documentation. Participate in regular strategic planning, multi-skilled work training, and planning. Provide technical leadership for multi-skilled work force. Work with project managers, contractors, representatives, and engineers to ensure effective execution of projects and work assignments. Supervise and monitor the performance of multi-skilled workers at various levels. Monitor purchases of materials and equipment to maintain quality control and compliance with City financial policies, maintain adequate supplies of all materials and equipment. Assist in the hiring process, developing job descriptions, pre-employment interviews, assist in the discipline of subordinate staff. Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi. In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the general public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services.
