Job Description/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelors degree; minimum 1 year of related experience

JOB DUTIES: Assist in administering the component budget in compliance with U.S. Department of Education EDGAR guidelines; maintain accurate project records in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Represent the Title V-Graduate Programs by participating in college programs, committees, and activities. Conduct and attend all Title V-Graduate Programs meetings and individual supervision meetings; train, supervise, and evaluate the Title V-Graduate Programs staff and be responsible for the development and coordination of activities among staff; schedule and conduct staff in-service training activities, plan and coordinate Title V-Graduate programs for graduate students, participate in Title V conferences and workshops and attend job-related seminars for professional growth and development. Supervise maintenance of the Title V-Graduate Programs filing system, mentoring activities, and participation records. Assist in preparing, submission, and responding to all reports required by the U.S. Department of Education and TAMUCC. Assist Director and Associate Director in formulation of long range plans to ensure effectiveness and quality in meeting component goals. Collaborate with Director and Associate Director to maintain community connections and open lines of communication with community agencies, organizations, post-secondary educational institutions, and businesses. All other duties as assigned.

This is a grant funded position. Continued employment is based on availability of funds.
